To understand how your players experience your game, you will need different types of information based on the stage of your game and your goals. Antidote will provide you with an easy way to watch how your players interact with your game, listen to their think-aloud comments and send them complete surveys to objectively get their feedback. Antidote for players works on PC and Android Devices and can launch and record any game without any additional code.
The standard limit is fixed to 2h, since playing for that long should be enough to get important feedback on early stage games or even earlier versions of games. However, if more time is required, we offer multiple solutions, from extended recording duration to launching multiple continuous sessions. These sessions will have regular breaks so that players can rest and also provide mid-session feedback.
The final survey shared with players has no limitation on the number of questions. We do suggest sending them no more than 30 questions to avoid making them feel too tired or bored. It also depends on the type of questions, as open questions take more time than scaled or single/multiple choice questions.
