How will I get selected to play a game?
Developers submit their game and indicate what types of players they would like to be playing. For example:
native english speakers between 18 and 30 years old.
players between 30 and 50 years old who occasionally play puzzle games.
If the profile you defined matches with a new project, we will contact you and you will be free to participate.
I don’t like the project you’ve assigned to me. Can I refuse to play?
Don’t worry, nothing is compulsory. You are free to accept or reject any project assigned to you. However, if you refuse or don’t reply to 3 project invitations in a row, your account will be considered as inactive and you won't be notified anymore when a new project comes up. Your account could eventually go back to active on request.
Will I get a compensation to play?
Once the playtest is assigned to you, information regarding the reward is indicated in the project’s description. You can expect to receive coins and experience that you can exchange for game related rewards: gift cards (amazon, steam, etc), tickets to game events and more!
Can I send the game to my friends?
Sharing a game of the platform is strictly forbidden by our terms and services. Any violation of our terms and services could result in banning you from the platform as well as legal action against you in accordance with the European and Spanish laws.
How long should I play?
The number of sessions to perform, as well as the duration, is indicated in the project instructions. A timer will automatically notify you once you have played the required time.
I want to delete my account on your platform. How do I do it?
You can ask to fully remove your account by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our team will process your request within 24h. We're sorry to see you leaving... 😢
No projects were assigned to me yet, why?
Several reasons can explain this. It could be about your user not being validated yet, or simply because there are no projects matching with your profile yet. Be patient, your time will come!
I lost my password or user ID and can’t connect to the mobile application.
If you can’t remember your ID or password, go to forgot section and insert your email. We will send you the instructions to solve the issue.
I could not finish my session, what should I do?
In case you could not finish the session (your device ran out of battery, you received a phone call, your dog ate your phone, …), your session won’t be valid. Depending of the case, you might be invited to play again, or not.
I’m a game tester but also a developer, can I upload my game to your platform?
We love having new games on the platform. Send us an email with details of your game and we will evaluate your project!
How do I become game tester?
We have developed an online, cloud-based platform, to help developers directly handle their projects from their offices. You can participate to the development of the game and apply as game tester directly here.
I have noticed a bug in the game, should I notify it?
You might be invited to report bugs at the end of your session. If not, do not hesitate to send us an email at email@example.com with the details of the game and the bug found.
What are Experience Points (XP) and Coins?
Every time you playtest a game you will get experience points (XP) and coins based on how long was that session. XP will let you increase you player ranking and based on them you may be assigned to more games and your ratio coins/minute will increase.
There is a shop on the platform where you can exchange your coins for game related gifts such as Steam, Amazon Cards, tickets for big events or even games and consoles.
How do I download the mobile application?
As soon as you are registered on our platform, we will verify your profile through a short phone call. Once your profile is verified, we will provide you access to our mobile application (for Android & iOS), where you will find your assigned projects.
The assigned project is a multiplayer game. Can I invite my friends to test the game with me?
Sure! You can invite your friends to register as a tester on the platform using this link. If their profile matches with the project specifications, they will certainly get selected to play the game.
What games will I play?
It will depend on your preferences. Most of the games are for Windows, Android and iOS but other platforms might also eventually come up.
I love the game I tested. Can I play the game again?
Depending of the instructions of the project, you might be invited to play the game again. If the game is publicly published (for example on iOS, Android, Steam, …), you will be most likely authorized to keep playing if you wish to. However, if the game is still in development, it is possible developers ask you not to play the game again, in accordance with the confidentiality agreement signed when you became a game tester.
