How to install a game on Android

When you launch a playtest for Android, Antidote will assist you through the process of installing the game (called APK after it’s extension). Part of the process is automatic but some steps will require your interaction.

Install the game

  1. On Antidote, tap on “Download Game”: your default browser will open and the game will start downloading.
  2. Tap on the downloaded file with .apk extension
  3. (first time only) Authorize installation of unknown apps: the first time you tap on a game, you will be requested to authorize the Browser to install apps.
    Warning: Antidote verifies that uploaded game APKs are trustable and safe. If you install APKs from other sources outside Antidote, make sure these sites are reputable before installing.
  4.  Install Game: after taping the game, you will be presented with several screens. Accept the permissions the installer asks for. Then, at the bottom of the installer window, tap Install.
    Important! Don’t open the game yet. Get back to Antidote and tap Next.
